Texas Cops Shoot Innocent Woman, Said She Was Armed, Now They Say She Wasn’t

A innocent woman is dead after officers responded to a disturbance about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at a home in the 100 block of Zimmerman Avenue, about two men arguing.

When they arrived on the scene Yvette Smith was walking out of her door when, according to the statement, Deputy Daniel Willis was forced to shoot her because she came to the door with a firearm and disobeyed officers’ commands.

Willie Thomas, who owned the home, insisted to the American-Statesman this week that he witnessed the incident, and that Willis had no reason to shoot Smith because she did not have a gun.

“All I can tell you is that they overreacted,” Willis explained. “She didn’t have the chance to get out the door.”

However, days later a second media release by the Sheriff’s Office they say they cannot confirm if Smith was armed with any type of weapon or disregarded officers.

Deputy Willis was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation. But days after the shooting, the family doesn’t understand why the sheriff’s office has kept quiet after retracting its initial statement.

And now the police have began to remain silent, “Unfortunately due to the very preliminary and active ongoing investigation we are unable to release the requested information at this time,” Bastrop County Sheriff Terry Pickering said in a statement on Tuesday

Family Says Moore Police Beat Father To Death

source:news9oklahoma

MOORE, Oklahoma –

Three Moore Police officers were put on administrative leave while detective investigate an in-custody death from overnight. The family of the man who died said police beat him badly and they recorded it with a cell phone camera.

Nair Rodriguez and her daughter Lunahi told News 9 they got into an argument at the Warren Theater around midnight. Nair said she slapped her daughter then stormed away. Her husband, Luis, chased after her. That was when the family said officers confronted Luis Rodriguez and asked to see his identification.

According to Lunahi and Nair, he tried to bypass the officers to stop his wife from driving off because she was so angry. They said officers took him down and it escalated.

Lunahi Rodriguez said that five officers beat her father to death right in front of her, in the parking lot of the movie theater.

“When they flipped him over you could see all the blood on his face, it was, he was disfigured, you couldn’t recognize him.”

By the time it was all over, Nair Rodriguez said that she knew her husband was dead.

“I saw him. His [motionless] body when people carry it to the stretcher,” she explained. “I knew that he was dead.”

Nair says her husband was only trying to defuse the fight she was having with her daughter. She said when police asked her about it she told them what happened.

“I told them I hit her and he was just trying to reach me. Why didn’t they arrest me?”

Lunahi added, “My mom was taking a video and asking, ‘What are they doing this for? Why?’ And they didn’t give really an explanation.”

Rodriguez told News 9 that police took her phone with the recording on it. Another family member provided News 9 with an audio recording she said was taken when that happened. The family hoped Luis would pull through, so they waited for news at the hospital.

“Two hours passed. They finally called her up to say, ‘Oh you could see him,’ but it turned out it was a lie. They moved his body elsewhere,” said Lunahi.

The family told News 9 they would hire an attorney.

Another woman. She was peaceful. Video shows it. Tomorrow I will be on Megyn Files. 9p ET. They should have me on all week with what I saw today. On a positive note, as I told thousands of people today when I opened the ceremonies… America is back. No more sleepwalking.

Woman vet assaulted by cops in Washington DC

From Facebook photo post:

Just witnessed park police whack older women with night clubs. Young kids pushed and crying. Out of control. I was in the middle of it all. Equally sad and proud of what I saw today.

Please support what I do.

These were all posted by Facebook user DMLdaily. It shows horrible police brutality, no doubt by Washington DC metro park police, due to veterans and other people protesting the shakedowns due to the Federal Government shutdown. The feds are holding everything hostage while we still pay taxes for them to hold us hostage.

The Washington DC police are assaulting defenseless unarmed veteran women which is far worse then assaulting men that are tough and ready for a fight if need be. Why are these police not fired? No doubt because of the corrupt police chief that lets the police get away with these horrid behaviors.

Why are police allowed to be this nasty in the first place? Nasty people taking over the chief of police positions are allowing these abuses. I recommend people go to their city/town/metro governments to demand these bad police chiefs be thrown out of office.

Sacramento Police Beat Man To Death

source :we copwatch.org

On May 24th, 2013 a man was beaten to death by police in Sacramento California. As you can see in the video, the man isn’t attacking the police officers or posing any kind of threat that would warrant that kind of force. The female officer strikes the man at least ten times.

While an alleged incident took place prior to this video, it is likely that these documented baton swings contributed to this mans death.
As protocol, police will be investigating themselves, and a coroner (death cop) will determine how this person died.

The police will likely justify their actions by citing that they were in fear for their safety. The person’s history with the police (if any) will be spread through the media, and who knows, the coroner may evensay the man died from an overdose. Coroners often cite other reasons for people dying than the severe interaction they had with police just prior to dying.

Six Plainclothes Cops Attack and Arrest University of Virginia Sorority Woman After She Buys Water From Grocery Store

source:reason.com

Modern policing! Public safety! No amount of snarky irony can prepare you for this tale of police idiocy in the name of the most minor and absurd of laws, reported in Daily Progress out of Virginia:

When a half-dozen men and a woman in street clothes closed in on University of Virginia student Elizabeth Daly, 20, she and two roommates panicked.

That led to Daly spending a night and an afternoon in the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail. Her initial offense? Walking to her car with bottled water, cookie dough and ice cream just purchased from the Harris Teeter in the Barracks Road Shopping Center for a sorority benefit fundraiser.

A group of state Alcoholic Beverage Control agents clad in plainclothes approached her, suspecting the blue carton of LaCroix sparkling water to be a 12-pack of beer. Police say one of the agents jumped on the hood of her car. She says one drew a gun. Unsure of who they were, Daly tried to flee the darkened parking lot.

“They were showing unidentifiable badges after they approached us, but we became frightened, as they were not in anything close to a uniform,” she recalled Thursday in a written account of the April 11 incident.

“I couldn’t put my windows down unless I started my car, and when I started my car they began yelling to not move the car, not to start the car. They began trying to break the windows. My roommates and I were … terrified,” Daly stated.

The authorities agree with her tale, but, you know, she had pissed the cops off by then.

Charlottesville Commonwealth’s Attorney Dave Chapman read Daly’s account and said it was factually consistent.

Prosecutors say she apologized profusely when she realized who the agents were. But that wasn’t good enough for ABC agents, who charged her with three felonies. Prosecutors withdrew those charges Thursday in Charlottesville General District Court, but Daly still can’t understand why she sat in jail….

Agents charged Daly with two counts of assaulting a law enforcement officer and one count of eluding police, all Class 6 felonies carrying a maximum penalty of five years in prison and $2,500 in fines per offense….

Daly incurred the assault charges when she “grazed” two agents with her SUV, according to court records. She drove the SUV past the agents after her front-seat passenger, in a panic, yelled at Daly to “go, go, go” and climbed into the rear of the vehicle to gain space from the men on her side of the car, the records state…

Oh, the irony!

The women dialed 911 as they pulled out of the parking lot to report what was happening and ask whether the agents were police officers. Daly said she was planning to drive to a police station. She stopped the SUV nearby for an agent driving a vehicle with lights and sirens, Chapman said.

Cops Shoot German Shepherd in Front Yard, Tell Story Contradicted by Security Camera

another police murder

shot by copfamily photoCops in El Monte, California shot Kiki, a German shepherd, after entering a front yard in the course of investigating, apparently, a runaway teenager; they were visiting the home on an appointment, an hour late. Police say procedures were followed. Via the San Gabriel Valley Tribune:

“They did go up to the front (gate),” the captain [Dan Buehler] said. “There was a beware of dog sign of the gate. They did what we always do as police officers. They shook the gate. They didn’t see any dogs.”
“They looked for any signs of dogs — chew toys, dog mess, what have you,” Buehler said, adding that they entered the yard after not seeing anything indicating a dog was present.
“They walked up to the porch. They rang the doorbell. They knocked on the door. That’s when the first dog came around the house,” he said.

But video captured by the security camera at the home (you can watch it below) don’t show the police officers doing anything of the sort before entering through the gate. One cop petted the family’s pitbull before returning to the gate to close it, and the other cop shot the German shepherd, though the shooting is off screen. The dog wasn’t killed by the gun shot but had to be euthanized at the vet. The family also claims police told her her dog was ok after it had been shot, and demanded licenses for all the dogs in the house before allowing the German shepherd to get treated. The family says it hasn’t even gotten an apology, and also points out there was a children’s party in a front yard across the street and several children in the home when the shooting took place.
